Veteran’s Assistance Program Giving Guidelines
HelpNet USA’s current funding interests place priority on providing self-sufficiency opportunities for disadvantaged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Specifically, priority will be given to projects which provide vocational training and job placement opportunities via small business startups. Some emphasis will be placed on serving service-disabled veterans.
Types of Support
Grants will be made in the form of vital services required for new small business startups. A total of 10 grants will be awarded each quarter, in varying value. One grantee will be awarded a business startup package valued at $2,500; 3 will be awarded packages valued at $1,500; and 6 will be awarded $750 in business services.
Proposals and/or applications for funding will be accepted and grants awarded on a rolling basis, with review and awards being conducted quarterly.
