When a member visits a third party website, share information with other companies or individuals or shops throug our online mall, this information is not captured or shared with anyone. For your security you may want to view the privacy policy of these companies to determine what you want to share with them.

2. How your information is used

We collect information to provide better communication links between you and the organizations or individuals you select to volunteer, make donations or solict information. This is only general public information and not credit card data.

3. Who sees your personal information

Only a very limited number of HelpNet USA employees ever have access to your personal information. Primarily this information is accessed to provide customer services. We may use third party service providers to help us provide some of the services at our site. If we need to disclose personal information for them to provide the services, it is with the requirement that the information is kept confidential and is used only for those services.

4. Information security

Please remember that you also play a valuable part in data security. You should never share your HelpNet USA password with anyone. If you feel your password has been compromised, you should change it immediately. After you have finished using our site, you should log out of your HelpNet USA account and exit your browser so that no unauthorized persons can access our site using your name and account information. For third party companies featured in our website you should always ensure credit card data is encripted and view their privacy policy.

Collection of Information from Children.

HelpNet USA's services are not intended for use of minors. Accordingly, HelpNet USA does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.

5. Your privacy with HelpNet USA

HelpNet USA will never ask for your username, password or any other personal information in an unsolicited phone call, email or letter.

Further, any contact with HelpNet USA customer service in which personal information is exchanged with a customer service representative will be used only for the purpose of satisfying that request. 6. Your privacy with our partner and advertisers

HelpNet USA contains links to various other sites. Each of these sites has a privacy policy that may differ from that of HelpNet USA. The privacy practices of other websites linked to HelpNet USA are not covered by this privacy policy. HelpNet USA will not disclose any of the personal information supplied upon registration to our merchants. The only information that may be shared between HelpNet USA and one of our listed merchants is information that pertains to orders. Order information, including order numbers and amounts, may be available to either HelpNet USA, the merchant, or third party affiliate program management companies for accurate discount tracking purposes. This information will not be released by HelpNet USA to other parties unless required by law or to protect HelpNet USA and its members from losses. HelpNet USA does not record any personal information passed from our members to our merchants, including credit card information or merchant passwords.

7. Our policies on email

HelpNet USA does not support spamming by our members and we explicitly prohibit it in our member agreement. If you would like to report an incident of spamming, please contact us and we will take suitable action.

Our members may receive three kinds of emails.

1. email essential to the maintenance of your account

2. email newsletters and special features from HelpNet USA. You CAN opt out of these.

Although HelpNet USA will not share your information with any other member, some of your information may become available by your participation in certain activities such as voluteering or donating used items. Please understand that, though we may have some small influence over our members, we fundamentally cannot control the online or offline actions of our members or other parties, especially when it comes to their use of email or participation in moderated or unmoderated newsgroups. While we will investigate complaints sent to us, we will take appropriate action with our members, we will typically not provide any information to third parties about our conversations with our members. We encourage people to resolve disputes directly with each other and discourage people from attempting to use HelpNet USA to police their mailbox.

8. Cookies and how are they used

Cookies are small text files that a web site can write to your computer. We may use cookies to identify you and allow you to log in once to HelpNet USA and shop without having to log in again. Cookies are also used by many of our third party we4b partners to identify you as an HelpNet USA member.

9. Your choices and responsibilities

Periodically we may send you emails on new HelpNet USA features or solutions. On every one of these emails you will be given the choice to unsubscribe from HelpNet USA mailings.

Email and street addresses that are entered into a member's personal profile page are the addresses that will be used for all contact.

HelpNet USA reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notification to the members, however, there will be no disclosure of private information except as noted above. We will post all changes to this Privacy Agreement here at our site.
