Outreach Ministry Program Giving Guidelines
HelpNet USA’s current funding interests place priority on funding nonprofit Christian organizations or organizations serving Christian populations. In line with HelpNet USA’s beliefs, the organization has a specific interest in funding organizations and/or outreach projects that directly engage members of the Christian Church in making transformative, positive social changes within their communities. Additionally, the fund favors collaborative models.
Types of Support
Grants will be made in the form of vital services required for new outreach organization startups, or for the expansion of an organization’s existing programs. A total of 10 grants will be awarded each quarter, in varying value. One grantee will be awarded a business startup package valued at $2,500; 3 will be awarded packages valued at $1,500; and 6 will be awarded $750 in business services.
Proposals and/or applications for funding will be accepted and grants awarded on a rolling basis, with review and awards being conducted quarterly.
Applicant Eligibility and Procedures
- Applicants must be a nonprofit Christian organization
- Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization, or seeking assistance with such as part of requested services
- Application form must be completed and signed by an authorized officer or director
- Applicant organizations should attach the following, if available:
- Most recent audited financials or Form 990
- IRS Letter of Determination
- Letters of support from individuals served or collaborating organizations
